Bio
Past. Present. Future.
I am grateful to come from a creative family of musicians, poets, professors and artists. At Oberlin Conservatory, I fell in love with the classical music of Czech composer Smetana. He lived in Prague and composed a piece about the Vltava river, which winds through the beautiful villages of Bohemia, with its artistic and musical people. Mozart also lived in Prague for some time, because he felt truly accepted there. Inspired by these composers, I moved from Denver to Prague to study at the Academy of Music with composer Petr Eben, head of the Prague Spring Music Festival and considered next in line to Dvorak and Janicek. Petr Eben was a colleague of Carl Orff, who composed Carmina Burana.
I have composed music for Exempla Healthcare, the Sonnenalp Hotel and Spa in Vail, the School of Applied Arts, Spiritual Journeys Radio Network, the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra (with music director and conductor Antonia Joy Wilson), the Boulder Lyric Ensemble, Facets Quartet, Positive Affirmations App by Tracy Lawson, Glenyss Bourne (the Australian painter at anaheart.com) and Susan Kay Stevens (intuitive artist at SoulAwakenedLife.com), among others.
When composing, I love the zen feeling of transcendence, where I live in the moment and find a sense of peace. I enjoy working with creative people and look forward to composing music for your next film, media, or YouTube project. After composing, recording, and performing everything remotely in my studio on high-end, virtual instruments, I deliver the music electronically to clients across the globe.
My mission in life is to compose music in classical, electronic, and ambient styles that has a moving or healing effect on others. Music can be used for therapy, and I have created music for meditation and massage. It is scientifically proven that certain tones can be good for your chakras and energy system, which is why I am dedicated to composing harmonious music that provides a healing effect on others.
At Oberlin Conservatory, I did a project with folk musician Jim Scott, where we composed songs with Morgan Fichter, the violinist from 10,000 Maniacs. I received my B.A. in Music from the Colorado College, a degree in Media Composition from the Film Music Institute, and a M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Denver. A symphonic piece of mine will be premiered in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the next year.
I have the background and skills to make your project successful. Please see the "Home" page to download my music or the "Store" tab to commission a piece. You can email me directly from the links on this website. I look forward to connecting with you.
